PICTURE WINDOWS
Picture windows are a static window. They are able to create a “picture” like environment in your home. These are ideal for large windows where you just want to let the outdoors in. They are great for energy efficiency because there are no openings to allow airflow and they are generally more cost efficient as well.
GEOMETRIC WINDOWS
Geometric windows are just another form of picture windows in that they are static and do not open. These are usually custom ordered to your specifications but come in a WIDE variety of options.
SIDELIGHT AND TRANSOM WINDOWS
Sidelight windows are typically very narrow and long picture style windows that help to accent large windows, or more commonly, doors.
Transom windows are the same as sidelight windows except they are placed at the top of a window or door. As you can see from the picture, you can use these accent type windows to create a myriad of dramatic designs in your home.
PALLADIAN WINDOWS
A Palladian window is a window with a center arched section and two rectangular sections on either side of the arch. Though this is less of a window “type” and more of an architectural term, it is still a very common window style that really gives your house that Victorian feel.
RADIUS AND ARCHED WINDOWS
Radius or Arched windows can create a dramatic effect in any style home. They can be combined with almost any other window type to create stunning effects in your home.
